GAMBLE TOWNSHIP -- Repairs on the gasoline pipeline that was damaged during last week's flash flooding in Lycoming County could take up to two weeks.
Sunoco Logistics announced emergency repairs to the line began Wednesday and will continue non-stop through the next few weeks.
The company says the pipeline was likely damaged by a part of a bridge that broke off, traveled down Loyalsock Creek, and struck the line.
Sunoco says about 1,300 barrels of gas leaked into Loyalsock Creek, but drinking water levels remain safe.
