CARBONDALE -- It was a joyous reunion filled with laughter and tears.

The puppet monkey "Jingles" was stolen from Jo Ann Jordan better known as "JoJo the Clown" along with her car last week in Carbondale.

Police say after a brief chase police were able to track down the vehicle stolen by Pedro Santiago because it was covered with balloons and advertisements.

Lost and Found: Jingles, the Sock Puppet Returns

The monkey puppet Jingles, however, was nowhere to be seen.

Jo Ann Jordan was devastated because she thought she would never see him again.

"He was like a child to me. I know he's inanimate but we've done so many programs like Christian programs and helping people," said Jordan.

Jingles was found on the side of the road in Dickson City after Officer Michael Fredericks saw the story on WNEP and recognized Jingles the puppet.

"I was able to kind of see the face and be able to determine it was a stuffed animal," said Officer Michael Fredericks of the Dickson City Police Department.

Officer Fredericks then took the puppet monkey to the Dickson City fire department, where Jingles was washed properly.

Now Jo Jo the Clown and Jingles are ready for their next adventure.

"I'm so happy to have him you don't know. I've been a professional for 35 years and he's been with me for at least 30," said Jordan.
