PLYMOUTH -- Parents learned Tuesday night that Wyoming Valley West Middle School could reopen next month after the district clears the mold problem in the building.

The school district brought in experts to answer parents' questions about the middle school in Kingston, which has been closed since last month.

Students are attending classes on a split schedule at the high school.

The school board president says the board will vote Wednesday on a contract to have the middle school cleaned.

He's hopeful the building could reopen sometime around Thanksgiving.

There wasn’t much shared that wasn’t on the handout, repeated in the PowerPoint and pushed off without an answer…also, now there is mention that the kids have to make up time to meet the state education hours requirement. Wish that had been mentioned PRIOR to executing this split schedule plan.

I think many parents left with more questions then answers…. They seemed more concerned about evading questions rather than answering them. When they couldn’t evade them enough, they replied that the information was “Privileged” (due to pending litigation)
