Condemned Homes in Wilkes-Barre Demolished

WILKES-BARRE – Some dilapidated homes are coming down in Wilkes-Barre.

The city has hired a contractor to demolish three condemned houses on Sullivan Street.

Officials say the vacant properties are falling apart and not safe.

Neighbors tell us they're glad to see the old houses go and look forward to new ones being built.
