Biden to Campaign for Hillary Clinton in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE -- Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Luzerne County, the Clinton campaign announced.

According to the campaign website, Biden will speak at a public event on Friday, October 21.

Biden will be speaking to voters at Wilkes University starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Doors for the event are expected to open at 1: 30 a.m.

Biden is also scheduled to stop at the Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton to accept the inaugural Beau Biden Award. It's named for Biden's son who died of brain cancer last year.

The vice president is being honored for his effort to bring all of the nation's medical resources together to change the way medical professionals approach cancer.

    Wait a minute! Biden is going to be here?! Wow ! and Joe Biden will tell us we need good jobs and not to cut social security like the other side and then a little talk on how Hillary is the only one who can turn the economy around and how they won’t take from the poor and give to the rich and that history hangs in the balance and how Hillary can eliminate all racism.

    And the people who can’t open their eyes and think will lap it up. Way to go, Joe !

    Cool, hope I can go see him. We have his bow from his home in Delaware. He sold it to my aunt and uncle in law. I love this guy, so down to earth.
