SUNBURY — A man charged with shooting a woman in Northumberland County has admitted to the crime.
Rafael Diroche pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated assault and other charges for the shooting in 2014.
Salicia Yost of Milton was found shot inside a car on Irish Valley Road near Shamokin in November 2014.
Prosecutors say Diroche pulled the trigger when he learned that Yost had cut him out of a drug deal.
Diroche is scheduled to be sentenced Monday. He could spend 13 to 26 years behind bars.
