University of Scranton Dedicates New Community Garden

SCRANTON -- A blessing was said to dedicate the University of Scranton’s community garden Wednesday afternoon along Irving Avenue in Scranton’s hill section.

Student volunteers and faculty members who helped create the garden were on hand for the ceremony.

Vegetables grown in the community garden goes to the university’s food pantry to help families in need.
