Fire at Junk Yard in Scranton

SCRANTON -- Crews were called to a junk yard in Scranton after flames sparked Wednesday evening.

A viewer sent Newswatch 16 a photo of the fire at Weitsman of Scranton on Keyser Avenue.

The fire happened around 5:30 p.m.  According to neighbors, the fire caused a large plume of black smoke, which lead to traffic back-ups in the area..

Officials haven't said what sparked the fire in Scranton, but have said no one was hurt.
