WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump once again played to a full house at Mohegan Sun Arena near Wilkes-Barre.

Thousands turned out again for a campaign rally Monday evening. This was the second time Trump has visited the complex in Luzerne County.

Trump fired up the crowd throughout the hour-long event.

"You're going to look back in 10, 15, 20 years from now and say this was an important night,” Trump told the crowd. “More importantly, the single most important vote you've ever cast is going to be cast on November 8.”

Trump began around 7:45 p.m., about 45 minutes behind schedule. He spoke for nearly an hour, and once again talked about bringing jobs back to Pennsylvania, protecting the Second Amendment, and overhauling Obamacare.

"We're going to make Pennsylvania so rich again. You're jobs are coming back. We're going to be ending illegal immigration. We're going to stop the jobs from pouring out of our country. We are going to unleash American energy including oil, shale, clean coal, and natural gas," Trump said.

Many supporters say Trump can bring the change necessary for our country.

"He has these different ideas, you know? We're stuck. We're spinning our wheels these last eight, 10, 12 years. We're spinning our wheels. We got to get back on track," said Joe Gambucci of Effort. "I feel that he's the guy to get us back on track. Whether he does or not, that's another question. However, I don't think we're going to get back on track if Hillary gets elected."

Before the speech, we spoke with some Misericordia University students who are first-time voters.

“I watched the debate last night. I think he did a really, really good job, but I’m looking forward to hearing more about it. “I’m still undecided,” said Bobby Jacobs, Misericordia University student. “He could win my vote today if he says something that I want to hear.”

Despite backlash Trump is getting from even inside his own party over lewd comments he made about women in 2005 that recently surfaced, his female supporters here won’t back away.

"As a woman, I was disgusted. I don't think any man should say that about any woman, but I know it happens. There's probably a lot of men that say it. They just aren't on mic. He just happened to be on mic, so it's not changing my mind," said Betty Gambucci.

Tuesday, October 11 is the deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania. Both Trump and the speakers before him told the crowd to make sure their friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers are able to vote in November.
