SCRANTON -- It was a busy day at Scranton High School on Saturday. Along with a political rally and Ryan's Run 5k, there was also an expo for runners taking part in Sunday's Steamtown Marathon.

People at the expo could find all kinds of marathon goodies from runners' gear to souvenirs.

We spoke to one first-time participant and his young son.

“I've been working pretty hard over the last half a year to get ready for the race. I just can't wait. The weather will be perfect. I just can't wait to do the 26.2 miles,” said Chad Davis of Berwick.

The marathon kicks off at 8 a.m. in Susquehanna County and ends at Courthouse Square in Scranton.
