SCRANTON -- The US Senate race in Pennsylvania is also garnering national attention.
Polls show voters in the commonwealth wavering between US Senator Pat Toomey and Democratic challenger Katie McGinty.
Some experts believe the seat could decide which party controls the US Senate.
McGinty spoke with Newswatch 16 at the rally in Scranton today where Bernie Sanders stumped for Hillary Clinton.
“I think what is hot and happening here is, medical institutions, meds and eds, and the medical college. Let's grow that. Let’s become a keystone for medical education, medical devices, and technology,” McGinty said.
Pennsylvania's race for US Senate is one of the most expensive in the country with plenty of attack ads on the air.
