KINGSTON -- Wyoming Avenue in Kingston is back open following a deadly crash. The busy road was closed for about three hours.
Kingston police tell us a white Cadillac was heading south. Witnesses say it was travelling at a high rate of speed around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Cadillac slammed into the back of an SUV before veering across both northbound lanes, taking out a couple of street signs and ending up in a parking lot.
The driver of the Cadillac is dead, according to police. The coroner identified him as Mark Stefanick, 61, of Swoyersville.
A woman in the passenger seat was taken to the hospital.
Two people in the SUV are fine. They refused treatment at the scene.
Police in Kingston are investigating the crash.
