WILLIAMSPORT -- Williamsport's assistant police chief has stepped down to become a full-time lieutenant in the city.
Tim Miller created some controversy over the summer when he was also appointed as administrative chief of the Sunbury Police Department.
That job was only part-time.
Miller will work an overnight shift in Williamsport.
