Businesses in the city's Green Ridge section opened their doors on Saturday with special deals for shoppers. It was all meant to celebrate the booming business district.
Members of the Green Ridge Business Association say this is the first time in more than 30 years that the neighborhood in Scranton has had more than 30 small businesses.
