Crews Repair Gas Line after Car Crashes into Home

STROUDSBURG -- Crews repaired a broken gas line in the Poconos after a car plowed into a house.

Police in Stroudsburg told Newswatch 16 the teen driver who crashed into a double block home on North Fifth Street only had his learners permit.

Officials say he lost control of the car then crashed into the home. According to crews there was no damage to the house.

Two people who live in the double block have to stay elsewhere while they make repairs to the gas line.

No one was hurt in the crash in Monroe County.
