Some tails are about to be on the trail in one part of our area.  The SPCA of Luzerne County is gearing up to host its 26th annual "Walk for the Animals" at Frances Slocum State Park. Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey got a preview of the event Wednesday. The money raised from the fundraiser helps the SPCA of Luzerne County care for the 5,000 animals that come into the shelter each year. The funds help cover everything from veterinarian bills to supplies.

As mentioned on Newswatch 16 This Morning, you can support the cause and even bid on some of the gift baskets without going to the actual event. Click here to browse the raffle and donate!
