Attorney Admits to Bank Holdup in Schuylkill County

POTTSVILLE -- An attorney from Schuylkill County will spend time behind bars for robbing a bank.

Steven Cormier of Nesquehoning pleaded guilty Wednesday to the holdup last October at Wells Fargo Bank inside the Fairlane Village Mall near Pottsville.

After entering his guilty plea, Cormier was sentenced to 14 to 28 months in prison. He also pleaded no contest to terroristic threats and will serve 12 months on probation.
