WEST PITTSTON -- A busy intersection in Luzerne County was closed Monday afternoon after a contractor working on a sewer project hit a water main.
Pennsylvania American Water said it happened around noon at the intersection of Luzerne and Wyoming Avenues in West Pittston.
Though no costumers are effected at this time. According to Pennsylvania America Water the break is isolated, and may cause no water or discolored water from West Pittston to Forty Fort as they work on the break. Tankers are available at Antonio's Pizza at Wyoming Avenue on Luzerne Street.
A tanker will also be available at the Midway Shopping Center Tuesday morning.
