SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP -- Part of Route 93 in Luzerne County was closed for a time on Monday after a head-on crash.
A tractor trailer and a car collided around 11:30 a.m. near Conyngham.
Emergency crews think the driver of the tractor trailer may have had a medical issue that caused him to swerve into the oncoming lane.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
