TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP — Police in the Poconos have arrested two men after a violent home invasion Tuesday, and one of those arrested is a man who was shot inside the house.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said when they responded to the report of a shooting at the home on Glade Drive in Long Pond, they found Michael Saunders shot in the legs and a lot of drugs and drug paraphernalia.  Investigators said they found evidence of illegal dealing of marijuana and bulk amounts of marijuana, LSD and psychedelic mushrooms. It was originally reported as a home invasion.

Police said when Saunders was released from the hospital on Wednesday, he was arrested.  Investigators said they then learned Saunder’s supplier was Ryan Tolley from Pocono Pines.

When police searched Tolley’s home, they said they found marijuana and cocaine amounts packaged for street and bulk level sales. They also found loaded handguns and an AR-15 rifle.  Tolley was also arrested.

Police haven’t said who was the shooter during that home invasion.
