Environmental Education Center Celebrates 40th Anniversary

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP -- The Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an open house on Sunday.

Thursday, third grade students from Clear Run Elementary in the Pocono Mountain School District were taken on a nature hike to teach them about the environment.

There will be live snakes,  "Critter Olympics" and bird banding starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the education center.
