WILKES-BARRE -- The race for the White House returned to our area Wednesday night.

Green party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein spoke to a crowd of supporters at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre.

About 150 people gathered inside Wilkes University's Student Union to hear the presidential candidate speak about her domestic and foreign policy positions.

Much of her campaign rests on attracting the millennial vote.

"Millennials are the future, not just for our campaign, I think, but for our country and the world. It's always millennials who have led the way forward," said Stein.

Dr. Stein was also the Green party's candidate in the 2012 presidential election and currently holds the record for most votes ever received by a woman candidate for president in the general election.
