DICKSON CITY -- Middle school children gathered in Lackawanna County on Tuesday.
Nearly 900 seventh graders from the Scranton and Riverside school districts took part in the "STEAM Launch" at Genetti's in Dickson City.
It's the first of several events planned to spark children’s interest in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
