CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP -- A memorial 5k was held in the Poconos in honor of a man who was killed during a shooting rampage.
The third annual Dave Fleetwood Memorial Trail Run/Walk was held at the West End Regional Park in Chestnuthill Township Sunday morning.
Fleetwood was a dedicated public servant who was shot and killed at the Ross Township municipal building back in 2013.
His widow, Pam Fleetwood, says the number of people who came out reflects the kind of person Dave was.
Rockne Newell pleaded guilty to the deadly shooting.
All money raised goes to the Dave Fleetwood Memorial Scholarship that benefits Pleasant Valley High School graduates who exemplify the qualities of Fleetwood.
