WILKES-BARRE -- A softball tournament aimed to benefit a teen suffering from several medical conditions in Wilkes-Barre.

This was the first ever "Tourette Without Regrets" softball tournament to benefit Freddie Kraft of Nanticoke. The 14 year old suffers Tourette syndrome, Chiari malformation, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. He also has to wear special glasses.

People came out to play softball and other games at Kirby Park, all to help raise money to pay for Freddie's glasses, which are not covered by insurance.

"He's out having fun and meeting people that want to meet him and come up to him. For me, that's a blessing," said Stephanie Kraft, Freddie’s mom.

There was also a basket raffle and food sale as well.

In all, the softball benefit raised about $1,000.
