WEST PITTSTON -- A man accidentally drove his truck right into a liquor store in Luzerne County.
It happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Wine and Spirits Store at the Insalaco Shopping Center on Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston.
The driver told police the brake pedal was wet from the rain and his foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator. The truck smashed through a front window.
Two employees were inside the store at the time. They were not hurt.
Police said the driver was not hurt and was able to drive the truck away after the crash.
The manager of the store said it will be open again on Thursday after an insurance adjuster checks out the damage.
