DUNMORE -- Supporters in Lackawanna County are awaiting the arrival of Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence who is expected to speak at a rally Wednesday evening.

Pence is expected to speak at 7 p.m. at Kenworth of Pennsylvania in the Keystone Industrial Park in Dunmore.

We are less than two months away from Election Day as both sides continue a mad dash to the finish line.

This will be the Indiana governor's second visit to the area this election season.

In July, thousands came out to the Lackawanna College student union in Scranton to listen to Donald Trump and Mike Pence speak.

Outside Kenworth of Pennsylvania, a trucking sales and service company, employees like Michael Santos and Marissa Ritter wait for their chance to set foot inside and witness their piece of election history.

"It's actually pretty exciting seeing everything set up and learning what the process is for a vice presidential candidate to come in and speak to our little town," said Santos.

"It's very exciting that we've been given the opportunity for him to come here and to talk to our town and let everybody know what he can do when he gets in. It's great and everyone is looking forward to seeing him," added Ritter.

This is the first time Ritter and Santos have seen Donald Trump's running mate in person.

It's not the first time everyone. One man has traveled to 40 states this election cycle selling Trump and Bernie Sanders stickers, two very different candidates with a lot of similarities.

"Same with Bernie, they aren't the establishment type people. The country is sick and tired of what's going on and they want change," said Tim Engelskirchen of North Carolina.
