SCRANTON -- Scranton police are getting some recognition for the work they do to protect the city.
Every September, Pennsylvania American Water does service projects in the community.
This year, it chose to recognize the Scranton Police Department.
Pennsylvania American delivered more than 100 free bagged lunches to police headquarters on South Washington Avenue Wednesday morning.
The company also plans to wash police cruisers on Stafford Avenue in Scranton.
