BUTLER TOWNSHIP -- Part of Interstate 80 westbound in Luzerne County is set to be closed overnight for bridge work.
Crews planned to close the westbound lanes around 11 p.m. Monday while they work on a new bridge over I-80 near the junction with Interstate 81.
The plan is to place beams for the new bridge during the nighttime work.
Interstate 80 west is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
