Break out your ruby red slippers! It's a chance to take a trip down the yellow brick road and it's all in the name of helping a nonprofit school in Luzerne County.
Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey visited the Wyoming Valley Children's Association (WVCA) in Forty Fort Monday for a closer look at the "Journey to Oz" event. The money raised from the upcoming gala benefits the nonprofit school. The facility helps children with or without developmental delays. It also offers children various onsite therapies if needed including speech therapy.
To help keep the place thriving, teachers and parents organized the "Journey to Oz" event for this Saturday evening, September 17, at the Woodlands Resort near Wilkes-Barre. Click here to learn more about the event and get tickets!
