WILKES-BARRE -- A dilapidated home was torn down in Wilkes-Barre on Monday after years of complaints from neighbors.
Crews knocked down the home on Taft Street.
The property had been vacant for years, and neighbors said it had become a home for raccoons and mice.
"Myself and my neighbors, we've been trying to get this place down and finally we got it down!" Jim Burden of Wilkes-Barre said.
There is no word what will become of the property once the debris has been cleared.
