SCRANTON -- Several pets, including some snakes, were rescued from a fire in Scranton Tuesday afternoon.
The fire started before 2 p.m. at a home on North Decker Court.
A teen was home at the time and tried to stay inside to rescue a dog, cat, and some snakes. The teen got out safely and the animals were all taken out.
Firefighters believe the fire started from an electrical problem.
The home is heavily damaged.
