FRANCES SLOCUM STATE PARK — Officials at Frances Slocum State Park say the Big Pines picnic area is now reopened for the holiday weekend. State police say no criminal activity was found at this time.
State officials closed a popular part of the park earlier this week after state police say they found some clothing in the area, calling it suspicious.
