FRANCES SLOCUM STATE PARK -- Officials closed a popular section of Frances Slocum State Park in Luzerne County Monday for some sort of investigation.
The Big Pines picnic area is currently off limits.
State police say they found some clothing in the area and consider the discovery suspicious, but they will not say why.
Officials also could not say when that part of Frances Slocum State Park will reopen.
