WILKES-BARRE -- A church in Wilkes-Barre received a big blessing last week. Men's Wearhouse donated hundreds of men's suits to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Wayne Harley works there and said, “It was a two-sided coin. Obviously, we were grateful, but then the challenge was what are we going to do with all these suits.”

It's been almost two weeks since St. Stephen's received the suits for its clothing closet and half of the suits are still there. Now, the church staff is reaching out to other nonprofits and employment offices to find people who need them.

That's where Scott Barley heard about the suit drive.

“You got plenty of choices to choose from, and not just something thrown around. They look pretty good!” he said.

John Ford wants a new suit for when he goes to church.

“I feel great, I feel like a new man, you know? I feel really good!” he said after trying one on.

If you want suits for yourself or your nonprofit, you can stop by the parish hall on South Franklin Street. They're there Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Plus, soon there will be an even bigger selection because Men's Wearhouse plans to donate an additional 200 coats.
