POTTSVILLE -- Pottsville Area High School unveiled its first ever mascot Thursday night.
"Rip Tide" was unveiled at Veterans Memorial Stadium and will be on the sidelines cheering on Pottsville's team beginning Friday night for the Tide's first football game of the season.
Senior, Dylan Stillwagner, a football player at Pottsville, came up with the idea for the mascot, and helped to raise the $5000 needed for the mascot costume.
