TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP -- Police have charged a man after a deadly crash in Monroe County.
Police believe Robert Givey, 41, of Saylorsburg lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of Route 115 and Allegheny Drive near Blakeslee in March 2015. He slid on a snow-covered road into the path of a PennDOT truck. The truck tried to avoid Givey and hit another car. The driver of that car, Richard Kline, 27, of Saylorsburg, was killed.
On Wednesday, Givey was charged with aggravated assault while DUI, homicide by vehicle, unintentionally causing death while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, and a slew of other related charges.
