DURYEA -- The man who tried to escape the Luzerne County jail with notorious killer Hugo Selenski back in 2003 has been caught after being on the run for a separate incident since June.
The fugitive, Scott Bolton, is now in cuffs after being caught on the second story roof of a home in Duryea.
Bolton and and a woman, Stacy Stackhouse, were arrested by Duryea police and U.S. Marshalls.
Bolton has been on the run since June, accused of assault at the very same home where he was caught on Thursday. The home where he was found is condemned after a meth lab was discovered there.
The man is no stranger to the law. Bolton tried to escape the Luzerne County jail with notorious killer Hugo Selenski in 2003.
Bolton fell as he tried to escape, and was badly injured. The fall left him in a wheelchair for years.
Bolton had no comment for Newswatch 16 about his attempted escape.
