SCHUYLKILL HAVEN -- A popular walking trail in Schuylkill County is having work done.
The Irish Flats Trail at Island Recreational Park in Schuylkill Haven is closed right now while crews widen the trail and clear away overgrown trees, grass, and brush.
Charity helped raise the $5,000 used to improve the trail.
Those working on the project hope to have work finished this week so the trail in Schuylkill County can reopen.
