SCRANTON -- Lackawanna County has a new judge.
Scranton attorney Julia Munley was sworn in at the Lackawanna County Courthouse Tuesday morning.
She was appointed to fill a vacancy in the court of common pleas left by Judge Mazzoni who is retiring.
Munley is set to fill the position through January 2018.
Judge Munley comes from a family of Munleys who run a law firm that serves the greater Scranton area.
