SCRANTON - Hillary Clinton supporter Christian Baloga has been following the campaign since the beginning. He described her acceptance of the nomination as electric.

Baloga says he loved all the messages of unity she and others speakers used  at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Baloga says he's excited to spread Clinton's message of love on the campaign trail.

"It doesn't matter who you are or where you came from," says Baloga, "She is going to be there for all of us it doesn't matter what side you are on she's going to be representing all of America."

Baloga says it's not just about the opportunity to have the first woman president,  it's about what Hillary stands for.

"Gender to me is nothing. I don't care. If I saw black and white on paper of what the person was for that's what I'm most interested in."

For Seleena Tanzer of Taylor having a woman candidate for president is a great inspiration for young girls. Letting them know anything is possible.

"We can't say, we never had a black president or a woman president it shows that we are all equal," says Tanzer.

Rich Passarello says it's good that a woman was nominated, but doesn't believe Hillary is the right candidate. He says her scandals will make it difficult for people to vote for her in November.

"I wish we had better candidates both on the democratic and the republican side but unfortunately it is what it is and given all that has happened with Hillary I just cant support her."

Friday evening Hillary Clinton and running-mate Tim Kaine have a rally in Harrisburg.

Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden are expected to visit Scranton in mid-August.
