WILLIAMSPORT -- Riders say you'll hear them long before you see them.

"This bike has hauled me from Muncy to Alaska and back," said Ron Way.

Ron Way lives in Muncy and loves his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Lucky for him, the 26th annual Pennsylvania HOG Rally is in Williamsport this year. A big Harley-Davidson truck is set up behind Genetti Inn and Suites on West Fourth Street.

"Just to come out and see the different bikes see the different people, new people. Just like I said it's a lot of camraderie,” said Way.

Nearly 700 riders and their bikes are expected to cruise in to Billtown this weekend.

Joann Botti and her husband Ken made the trip from Long Island, New York.

"I just sit on the back, for 43 years," said Joann.

Botti and many other riders will take guided tours across central PA and plan to explore the city.

"We went to the Brick House last night. We listened to music. We had a couple of beers," said Botti

So while it's fun for riders, it's also good for businesses here in Williamsport like Long Island Pizza. The owner put up a sign welcoming riders hoping visitors would come in and enjoy a slice.

"This is just great. I tell you what we have been slow because of some construction issues and then these guys blow into town for three days this is a win-win situation. I am so happy that Williamsport brings events like this,” said Kane.

Members of the Harley Owner Group are invited to sign up for a guided ride. The community is welcome to come and check out the bikes at the event that runs through this Saturday in Williamsport.
