MILFORD -- A judge has ruled that a jury from outside Pike County will be brought in to hear the homicide case against Eric Frein.
The court order was issued Monday in Pike County. Frein's attorney made the request last month.
The order does not specify where the jury will come from.
Frein's trial has now been scheduled for March of 2017.
Frein is accused of the deadly ambush at the Blooming Grove state police barracks in September 2014 that left one trooper dead and another badly hurt. He was captured after a 48-day manhunt throughout the Poconos.
