DICKSON CITY -- A woman is charged with crashing into a home in Dickson City Friday afternoon, not once but twice, then driving off.

Police charged Mary Ann Graziano with smashing a car into Brian Kasperowski’s home on Bowman Street.

Kasperowski was home at the time and saw it happen.

“They floored it, so at first they came around and took the corner of my porch off but then they must have went forward then backed up and hit it a second time."

"Speaking with some of the witnesses as to what happened, it appeared that a male and a female were fighting in the vehicle when they crashed into this house,” said Dickson City Acting Police Chief William Bilinski.

Police say Graziano drove off, leaving Kaperowski's porch wrecked, his lawn torn up and leaving behind auto glass and a tail light.

“Luckily one of my neighbors did some of his own investigative reporting and followed tracks right through the woods and found the vehicle right on its roof,” said Kaperowski.

Just as police were checking out the wreck in the wooded area off Bowman Street, they got a call from someone living nearby who spotted two people walking, looking "banged up."

Medics checked the male and female for injuries.

Mary Ann Graziano of Dickson City was arrested and charged with crashing the car into the home. The man was cited for letting Graziano drive his vehicle.

As for the Kaperowskis, they have insurance.

"Gonna need a new porch, that's for sure,” said Kaperowski.

They're just glad no one was seriously hurt.

"There are a lot of kids that play on this street, but thankfully no one was hurt I was very glad about that,” said Brian Kasperowski’s son, also named Brian Kasperowski.
