WILKES-BARRE -- The splash pad at Coal Street Park in Wilkes-Barre was open for the first time this year.
About a dozen kids played in the water Tuesday afternoon when Newswatch 16 stopped by.
City workers and park employees hope the splash pad can go the entire summer without any mechanical problems like in years past.
