CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP -- Authorities in Monroe County say they discovered a body inside a wrecked car.
Investigators found the woman in a vehicle at the bottom of an embankment off Route 209 near Brodheadsville Wednesday.
Troopers identified the victim as Christine Singer, 55, of Kunkletown.
Police believe she was heading south on 209 Tuesday night when the car went off the road and landed behind some trees.
The car was discovered around 5 p.m. Wednesday by someone walking by.
Investigators hope an autopsy will help determine the cause of death.
