Across America today, people will honor Old Glory. Today is Flag Day. It became a national observance in 1916 when President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation.
Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey scoped out some more flag facts from fiction earlier on Newswatch 16 This Morning.
He teamed up with Boy Scout Troop 57 out of North Scranton. The Troop learned early on during cub scout years about flag etiquette and more which they shared today from the NEPA Council of Boy Scouts of America in Moosic. The same group is also gearing up for a race this weekend.
