FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters say homeowners' quick thinking after flames sparked in a garage saved them and their house Sunday morning in Luzerne County.
The fire broke out inside the garage at this place on Cummings Road just outside of Dallas.
The family woke up to the sound of smoke alarms and quickly called 9-1-1.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor burns but is expected to be okay.
There is no word on a cause here in Luzerne County.
