WILKES-BARRE — A 14 year old is charged with drunk driving in Wilkes-Barre.

Police spotted a car driving erratically along Wilkes-Barre Boulevard Wednesday night.

When officers stopped the car, they found a 14-year-old boy behind the wheel. His blood alcohol content was .106.

The boy’s dad, Ramon Calva-Marin, 34, of Wilkes-Barre was a passenger in the car. He had a BAC of .26.

The boy was charged with DUI and released to a sober family member. Police expect to charge Calva-Marin with endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

As I constantly say on social media – I have never seen an areas so infatuated with getting drunk like you see with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. That is all people talk about half the week at work.

Seems from your grammar that you also have been drinking… come back and type when you’re sober.

That father should never be able to have any kind of unsupervised visits with the child,…ever again!….period! It’s NOT too late for the 14 year old kid. But it IS too late for the father. And even if he goes through rehab, he’s still not to be trusted. These kinds of people go through rehab just to help minimize their legal troubles, not because they really care.

Wow this kid has a promising future ahead of him. Great job dad maybe next time you can get the dog to drive your drunk butt home.

Yeah, growing up in Wilkes Barre, certainly a promising future.. NOT.

I guess we’re at the point now where the old heads aren’t gonna be like “OH THAT STUFF WAS NORMAL When I was a kid”, because they’re either dead, senile, or busy voting for Trump or Clinton.

Maybe he made a bad choice in letting an underage not only drink but drive his car, but imagine the lives that were saved instead of his .26 drunk ass driving around.

I honestly hate nepa and everyone that posts on these boards has no idea what they’re even talking about.

I used to drive drunk all the time back in the day; the trick is to keep one eye closed to help with the double vision and the spins. Kids these days dont know nothing.
