PITTSTON TOWNSHIP — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has a travel advisory for drivers who travel the northeast extension of the turnpike.
A 10-mile stretch of the southbound northeast extension in Luzerne County between the Wyoming Valley exit and Pocono exit will be completely closed Wednesday from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Crews are repairing a guide rail on that stretch of the turnpike.
Turnpike officials say drivers heading south will need to exit at Wyoming Valley, take Route 315 south to I-81 south and get onto I-80 west. They can then re-enter the turnpike at the Pocono interchange.
